One of the busiest industry of this century is the textile industry. New designs pour into market very frequently. The new design in textile gives way to new design in clothing. Fashion designers bring in new designs and we fall in love with these designs and in the process we forget the thumb rule; dress should be such that it pleases you and at the same time, it should also please those who see your dress. When it comes to Christian clothing, the thumb rule is simplicity.

The dress should be comfortable and it should spread the message of Jesus. Some clergy are of the opinion that Christian dress is one which is simple and it should also cover the head. They suggest that get the cloth stitched to suit you well. The cloth should be light and it should not be of tight fitting. In other words, the stitching should be such that it should allow enough air as otherwise it may be cause for bad smell emanating from the body. T-shirts, Jackets, Hoodies, caps or hats are some the best examples of a perfect Christian clothing. To repeat, never forget that the clothing should carry the message of Jesus in some form or the other.

This is true of clothing of both men and women. The Christian clothing for women include T-shirt, neck chain, earring, tops, sweaters etc. During rainy season, the umbrella women carry or rain coats should also carry some of the messages of Christ. The intention of such dress code is only to spread the message of the Lord. The other popular Christian clothing suggested is cotton cloths.

Of course it is true that it is difficult to maintain a cotton cloth. It would require laundering and ironing. But, cotton is very healthy for the skin. Some of the synthetic cloths we wear could cause some allergy. But a cotton cloth does not cause any allergy. They allow air and therefore it does not cause any bad smell. It is comfortable and it is the most ideal dress for summer.

Before you buy dress for the ensuing Christmas, consult the elders. It could be your parents or teachers or even the clergy. They will guide you in the right direction. The fashion industry has flooded the world with new designs and the person is unable to make a decision as to whether the new design is suitable for Christmas.
